General Official & Identity Documents

AUD$40 per single document *

All general official identity documents and academic qualification documents; e.g. Birth Certificates, General Examination Certificates (e.g. SRP, SPM, PMR, PMT), Basic Academic Transcripts and Examination Results Slips, Graduation Diplomas, Professional Trade Qualification Certificates (e.g. Sijil Teknik & Vokasional), Medical Industry Registration Certificates (e.g. Sijil Pendaftaran Ahli Farmasi), Marriage Certificates, Letters of Good Conduct and Death Certificates, etc. are charged at the standard flat-rate fee of AUD$40 per document. This includes translations for similar certificates from English into Malay that will be certified with our Persatuan Penterjemah Malaysia (PPM) credentials.

* Malaysian National Registration Identity Cards (NRIC/IC/KP) are charged at AUD$10 only per document.

* Bruneian & Singaporean National Registration Identity Cards (NRIC/IC/KP) are charged at AUD$20 per document as they contain more text and formatting requirements compared to Malaysian Identity Cards.

*
Driving Licences are charged at AUD$20 only per document.

Please note that:

1. A ‘document’ here refers to the single sheet of paper or card that constitutes your certificate or licence etc, and which would customarily bear text on either one or both sides of the sheet or card.

2. In the case of Driving Licences, the fee includes the translation of all extension slips associated with the bearer’s primary licence that is being submitted for translation in the order, i.e. there is no additional change for extension slips.

3. Please contact us for a quote if your official or identity document consists of more than a single sheet or card. Please be reassured that an extra charge will only be incurred if your extended document is unusually complex or requires specific legal or technical interpretation. Otherwise, the charge remains at the standard flat-rate fee of AUD$40 per document.

4. Identity documents with complicated rubber stamps, annotations, amendments, corrections, formatting requirements or stapled additions will incur an additional AUD$5 charge.

We will provide a full translation of your primary identity document and not just an extract.

* Bulk orders, i.e. the submission of four documents or more per order for general official & identity documents will be given a discounted rate.

Malay-Jawi Sijil Nikah, Surat Cerai & Malay-Rumi Muslim Marriage Certificates

AUD$60 per document

The fee for the translation of all Malay-Jawi and Malay-Rumi Muslim Marriage Certificates ( with/without the 'Lafaz Takliq' ) is AUD$60 per document.

The fee for the transliteration of these certificates from Malay-Jawi (Arabic script Malay) to Malay-Rumi (Romanised Malay) only (without an English translation) is charged at AUD$50 per document.

In all cases, please provide the exact spelling of all the names, addresses and other unique words or names found written in the document, as it is impossible to determine their respective Romanised versions from the Jawi text, e.g. ‘Muhammad’ in Malay-Jawi can be spelt as ‘Mohamed’, ‘Muhamad’, ‘Mohammad’. Other names have different spelling forms in Rumi; Rashid, Rasheed, Syukri, Shukri, Noor, Nur, Mariam, Maryam, etc. while place names have different spellings for the same word in Malay-Rumi, e.g. Tanjong, Tanjung, Air Hitam, Ayer Hitam, Ayer Itam, Pasir Putih, Pasir Puteh, etc.

We need you to confirm the correct spelling to avoid any problems arising from variations in our interpretation of a Jawi word into Rumi which may be different from how it is spelled in Rumi in your other related identity documents.

Legal, Real Estate, Financial & Taxation Documents

AUD $50 and above per document

The fee for the translation of general legal documents; e.g. Divorce Certificates, Decree Nisi/Absolute papers, wills and codicils, etc begin at AUD$50 per page, depending on the length and complexity of the material submitted, and the urgency and stipulated deadline imposed for the completion of the order.

The fee for the translation of specific police and court documents; e.g. police reports, witness testimonies, custody statements and criminal evidence begin at AUD$60 per page, depending on the length and complexity of the material submitted, and the urgency and stipulated deadline imposed for the completion of the order.

The fee for the translation of real estate, land titles and conveyancing documents; e.g. Geran Hakmilik Tetap / Sementara, etc begin at AUD$50 per page, depending on the length and complexity of the material submitted, and the urgency and stipulated deadline imposed for the completion of the order.

The fee for the translation of Bank Statements, Income Tax (LHDNM) and EPF (KWSP) related documents; e.g. e-BE Assessments, EA Forms, EPF Annual Statements, begin at AUD$60 per page and rising from there, depending on the length and complexity of the material submitted, and the urgency and stipulated deadline imposed for the completion of the order.

Due to the presence of superfluous information on them, Utility Bills; e.g. Land Assessment Bills (Cukai Tanah), Rates Tax (Cukai Taksiran) etc, will be given in extract form, which is fully acceptable for all official purposes. An extract translation will translate and list out all the essential identity information contained in your utility bill; e.g. name, address, account number, etc., but will exclude irrelevant information such as the utility company's terms & conditions, rates charged, usage data, special offers, advertisements etc.

All Extract Translations for Utility Bills are charged at AUD$20 only per document.

Documents Requiring Legal Witness / Sworn Affidavit

AUD$20 extra service charge per document

Translations requiring the addition of a Statutory Declaration or an Affidavit by the translator, or for the translator’s signature to be legally witnessed, e.g. by a Justice of the Peace (JP), will incur an extra service fee of AUD$20 for each separate Translation Affidavit required.

For statutory declarations, affidavits, and legal witness forms, you are required to provide all the official documents needed for this purpose. We will not purchase or complete such documents on your behalf.

Please ensure that they are pre-completed and clearly marked where the translator’s details and signature are required to be filled. We will not accept blank or incomplete forms.

The time needed to complete the affidavit will depend on the availability of a JP when your order and request for a statutory declaration or affidavit is received. Every effort will be made to ensure that one is secured as soon as possible.

Case-By-Case Basis

The translation fee for manuscript, printed text and audio-visual material will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
