HOW TO ORDER
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Please ensure that all the documents you need translated are correctly compiled and prepared before submitting them for our attention. If you are uncertain about what needs to be translated, whether you require your documents to be certified etc, then please check with your relevant recipient as to what they need from you first before proceeding. We cannot provide you with advice on what you need to prepare for your respective purposes, and we are not permitted to certify your original documents for you, only the translations produced by us. If you require additional documentation to be appended to your translation, e.g. an affidavit or copies of the original documents inserted into the translation, please mention this clearly in the Comments Box to avoid unnecessary confusion and delays. Additional charges apply. Please check the FAQs for further details. For applicants who wish to have documents, e.g. Malaysian PDRM Police Reports or Whatsapp screenshots translated for protection visas and asylum seeking purposes, we will need you to prepare a Statutory Declaration to accompany your translation. This Statutory Declaration will need to state the purpose of the translation and to affirm that the source material provided for translation is legitimate. We will not accept material of dubious or problematic origins. DO NOT send us translations you have previously made or received from other parties. We cannot copy, follow or replicate them at your request. And having them will not make our work any faster or easier to do. We are legally required to refer to the text from your original document, not a pre-translated version, for our translations. For documents with Malay Muslim names, please refer to our FAQs on our policy over the translation of 'bin' and 'binti/binte'. For documents with Chinese names, please be advised that we cannot change how your name is written in the source text, i.e. we are not allowed to add in a Western first name if it does not exist in the source text, or change the order of your name [Surname / Personal Names] because it is how you have chosen to represent it in Western form [Personal Names / Surname]. Likewise, and to avoid any unintended confusion, please retain its original structure when you fill in your name in the Order Form, e.g. if your name is Wong Mei Hwa, please write it as Wong Mei Hwa and not Mei Hwa Wong. FEE SCHEDULE For our detailed fee schedule for all document types, please click here. COMPLETION TIME For information on completion times for your order, please click here. OFFICIALLY RECOGNISED NAATI DIGITAL QR SEAL Please note that NAATI is phasing out the use of hand stamped seals on NAATI certified translations. To ensure that your translated document reflects the latest NAATI best practises, all our translations will be stamped with the latest NAATI digitally secured QR Seal. Our NAATI QR seal is also officially registered with DFAT. Our translations are therefore fully compliant with official requirements, and are legally recognised and accepted for all official purposes both in Australia and overseas. PERSATUAN PENTERJEMAH MALAYSIA (PMM) CREDENTIALS Our English to Malay translations will carry our PPM credentials which is recognised by Malaysian authorities for all official applications and related purposes. Please note that PPM does not issue official seals for their translators, but our PPM credentials will be clearly stated in the translation to confirm our bona fides. HOW TO PLACE YOUR ORDER Please complete the form on this page with your details and submit a scanned copy or digital photo image of the document/s requiring translation. Please ensure that you provide a full copy of the document, i.e. both sides of your certificate or card even if reverse is blank, and also ensure that none of its margins have been cropped. More importantly, please ensure that all the details in the scanned copy or digital image of your document can be clearly read, e.g. all rubber stamped imprints and/or handwritten annotations are fully legible. We suggest having your documents scanned at no less than 300 dpi. Please limit your documents to a maximum size of 2 Mb per document and no more than 8 documents per e-mail. For Malaysian Driving Licences, please be aware that your primary driving licence card has two printed sides, while your separate extension slip (if you have one) is printed on the obverse and usually blank on the reverse. We will still need to see both sides of your extension slip, as its reverse portion may occasionally bear official remarks and annotations, and we will need to confirm whether it is blank or otherwise. If you only have a one-sided photocopied version of your original document, we will still be able to provide you with a translation. Just ensure that the image you submit of it is fully legible. An explanatory note clarifying the matter will be included in the translation. We are unable to accept documents with visible problems, e.g. unauthorised changes, corrections or amendments, torn pages, scans with folded sections or obscured portions, and any other documents that are likely to be rejected by the authorities. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, usually no later than one business day after your order has been received. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT You will be sent the invoice payable for your order. Payment details will be listed in the invoice and your proof of payment, e.g. electronic receipt (see below) can be e-mailed in reply. A draft copy of the completed translation will then be e-mailed to you for your review. Please note that this draft copy is for review / reference purposes only. It is not the final certified copy, which will be digitally signed and certified with an official NAATI QR seal. Once you have confirmed; 1. That all the details in the draft copy are correct*; and 2. That payment has been processed** The relevant copies will be e-mailed and posted to you respectively. *Any necessary corrections and amendments will be made before the certified copy is finalised. Please read the FAQs for clarification, e.g. how names will be spelled in the translation etc. ** Proof of payment can be sent in the form of an internet banking receipt or screen shot of the receipt from your mobile device. The entire process would usually take no longer than 24 hours to complete from the time of receipt to when the final digitally certified copy is despatched to you. If absolutely required, hard copies can be requested and posted domestically and internationally. Interstate Postage in Australia will be via Express Post. Postage & Handling will be charged according to the current prices set by Australia Post plus a minor handling fee. Please feel free to get in touch should you have any further questions.
